Now here’s a little story all about how…
Freddy Boyd is a comedian, actor, and writer from Atlanta. After moving to the city to pursue his BS in Mechanical Engineering, Freddy fell into the wrong crowd and started doing improv on nights and weekends. When the 9 to 5 failed to sustain his constant need for external validation, he turned to performing at multiple comedy venues around town, becoming a cast member at Dad’s Garage in 2016. He has since traveled and performed in multiple festivals around the country and shared a stage with the likes of Scott Adsit, Matt Jones, and Colin Mochrie. All the while honing his writing chops with multiple live sketch shows, improvising a webseries, and appearing on multiple TV shows. Freddy hopes to use his comedy to explore the nuances of his unique black experience and uplifting others in Atlanta to share their own.
